Ice Hockey Media Italy, the project designed to increase the visibility of the fastest team sport in the world, takes off in Italy
ICE.Hockey Media Italy in collaboration with DAZN, a leading platform in streaming and sports entertainment, celebrates the attention received by the broadcast project dedicated to the ICE Hockey League. An initiative that has allowed Italian ice hockey to gain unprecedented visibility. The first live broadcasts on DAZN demonstrated growing national interest, with particular focus on Lombardy and Veneto.

The project, supported by the three main Italian clubs – HCB Südtirol Alperia, HC Pusteria Lupi and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – is an integral part of the ICE Hockey League cross-border championship. The tournament of the “fastest team sport in the world” represents one of the most exciting competitions on the European scene, bringing together the best teams from Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary.

The presidents of the three Italian clubs expressed full satisfaction with the project. “As a fan of this sport, it is a pleasure to see the three Italian companies united in such an important project. This represents only a first step to further grow ice hockey in Italy”, declared Bruno Benedetto, head of the ICE project .Hockey Media Italy. The success achieved by the broadcast of matches in free mode on DAZN will further push the visibility of this discipline in the coming months, with a commitment aimed at enhancing the championship and its protagonists.
