Iconic Gossip Girl -series actor and current rocker Taylor Momsen had to spend the night in the hospital due to a poisonous spider bite.
On Tuesday, Momsen published a photo of her leg on Instagram, which shows a lot of purple marks as a result of the bite. The rocker, who is currently on tour with AC/DC, wrote to the publication:
– In the hospital today, show tomorrow. Venomous spiders are no good, but the show goes on. See you tomorrow in Mexico City.

The next day, Momsen published a new photo carousel from the hospital. In another picture, he has an ice pack on his forehead, and in the video included in the carousel, he is being transported in a hospital bed.
The video shows how the purple marks have expanded into one larger area on the leg.
– Or I’ll spend the night in the hospital… Thanks to the incredible doctors who know, Momsen wrote.

It’s not the first time an animal has bitten Momsen while performing on AC/DC’s tour. In May 2024, in the middle of a performance, a bat flew onto his leg and bit him on the thigh.
As a result of the incident, Momsen was taken to the hospital. He said he had to take chicken pox vaccines for the next two weeks after the bite.
