Sonja Aiello responds to social media criticism that was directed at her rear.

Sonja Aiello is a well-known social influencer. Pete Anikari

– Let’s get straight to the point: I am the guy who is being talked about a lot at the moment.

Seen by a fitness influencer Sonja Aiello commenting on the recent discussion about her behind. Aiello said recently Not so mom in his podcast that he had a Brazilian butt lift, i.e. a procedure in which the buttocks are lifted and fat is transferred to them. Aiello’s operation has sparked heated debate on social media.

Now Aiello says in his Instagram video that it was important for him not to go to the BBL operation as long as he worked as a coach. Aiello quit coaching after eight years and now works as a podcast host.

– These things were confirmation for me that now I could do it. And I did, I don’t regret it, I love. What I apologize for is that I used the wrong term for this factor in the podcast, Aiello says, referring to the operating surgeon.

– I am not responsible for any young person who follows me. I really could have left out this whole operation. I don’t want to be like those numerous other influencers who don’t tell about it, but deny and lie. This is my body and I can do whatever I want with it, he continues.

Aiello says he decided to talk about his BBL procedure publicly because he didn’t want people to speculate about whether he had surgery on his rear.

– Now I told you. Do you see what the end result is? I’ve always wanted to follow my own path. Honestly, I have been processing this whole thing for several weeks already, says Aiello.

– You can hate and bark at my ass. You know what? I am really satisfied myself, he concludes.

In addition to criticism, some social media commentators reminded us of the danger of the operation. Representing British public health care of the NHS according to BBL surgery has the highest mortality risk of all aesthetic procedures.

Plastic surgery professor Virve Koljonen also warned against the procedure in an interview with Iltalehti.

– I hope people will understand that even a small operation is real surgery, which does not heal immediately and carries risks. There is no risk-free surgery. Surgery is always a burden on the body, Koljonen emphasized.
