The presentation of Máximo Kirchner’s latest sworn statement reactivated the debate about the magnitude of the assets that he inherited with his sister Florencia and that remains under the orbit of Justice. According to official documentation and asset details, the national deputy declared assets inherited during his mother’s lifetime for a total of $4,486,557,970, a figure that corresponds exclusively to his personal part. The total assets, including own assets, amount to $8,311,567,011.
This amount represents half of the total assets inherited by both brothers, since the other 50% belongs to Florencia Kirchner, who does not present an affidavit as she does not hold public office. Consequently, the overall volume of the inheritance amounts to double, although only the portion corresponding to Máximo is reflected in the official records.
Most of the assets declared by the head of the Unión por la Patria bloc are made up of properties located in the City of Buenos Aires and the province of Santa Cruz, including apartments, houses, commercial premises and lots of land. The total value of these real estate assets, corresponding to Máximo Kirchner’s share, reaches $2,251,526,935, constituting the most significant item of his assets.
In second place are shares, quotas and social participations without listing in the country, where family companies historically investigated by Justice are concentrated. There are Los Sauces SA, Hotesur SA and CO.MA SA, whose joint value declared by Máximo amounts to $2,212,247,392. These firms are at the center of the legal cases that led to the confiscation of assets ordered by the courts.
The patrimonial detail also includes real rights in the country, composed of holdings in pesos and dollars. In local currency, Máximo Kirchner declared $5,141,555, while in foreign currency he recorded $46,313,375, which brings this item to a total of $51,454,930.
Finally, in the automotive section, there is only one vehicle: a Honda CRV EXL, valued at $11,249,550, which completes the declared assets.
Altogether, the numbers confirm that the fortune confiscated by Justice and attributed to the children of the former president reaches multimillion-dollar figures. However, for administrative and legal purposes, only the part corresponding to Máximo Kirchner is reflected in the sworn declaration, while the identical portion belonging to Florencia remains outside that regime because she is not a public official.
