Canadian forward of KHL club Avangard Omsk Ryan Spooner32, praises Russia, which is still waging a brutal war of aggression in Ukraine.
– Russian culture is great, it’s different from American culture. I like that Russia is Russia. You have your own culture where you stay. We in America shape our culture according to everyone else’s, Spooner says Championatin in the interview.
According to the attacker, Canada and the United States try too hard to please others. Russia is a completely different country in this regard.
– You here in Russia seem to be saying: “This is how Russia is, and we are not going to change to anyone’s liking. This is our culture. You have to accept us as we are,” Spooner enthuses.
He doesn’t even understand that in the United States and Canada, people are ready to modify their own culture to make it easier for others to adapt to the country.
