The NHL club Utah Mammoth has appointed a Finnish defender Juuso Välimäki to the NHL transfer list.
The club tells about it on its X account.
Mammoth’s intention is to send Välimäki, 27, to the AHL club Tucson Roadrunners, but the Finn has to go through the transfer list.
Other NHL clubs can pick up Välimäki for free during the next 24 hours. If Välimäki is not caught, he will move to the AHL.
The defender, who has suffered from numerous health problems in recent years, has played his last NHL game in January 2025.
Välimäki has not played a single game this season.
