Riitta Väisänen is amazed after hearing about the torment of Janne Antin, who lives in Orimattila, in her own hometown.

Riitta Väisänen says that she herself had a good time in Orimattila, but Antini’s situation saddens her. Pete Anikari

Today, Iltalehti reports on the ex-presenter of Onnnenarpa and Matkaoppaat programs Janne Antin from hellish torment in Orimattila. He has owned a house in the city for four years. During these years, Antin says that he experienced constant bullying and nighttime harassment of young people, which led to severe depression. Now Antin is selling his home because he wants to leave the area.

– When I moved to Orimattila, this bullying started. Homophobia and jealousy. This is such an inbred and inwardly warm place as many have told me it is, Antin told Iltalehte.

According to Antin, there has been no help from numerous criminal reports and asking for help from the city of Orimattila.

Iltalehti was called by the host legend Riitta Väisänenwho has lived in Orimattila for 35 years. He moved to the village in 1991 and built a beloved house and stable there. Väisänen says that he is upset about Antin’s situation in the same town.

He says he heard about it before. According to Väisänen, the area where Antin lives is popular with young people because there are schools nearby. Still, vandalism should not be given a place in his opinion.

– In that parking lot, it must be nice to drag sleds with mopeds and cars, Riitta Väisänen sighs.

– You should still get someone to do it. It’s really boring that he’s been taken for such an eye candy. It must be a lack of space for young people, and when Janne went to help them, they got angry. That’s a bit like bullying, he says directly.

An entertainment professional who has lived in the community for a long time says that he had a good time in Orimattila.

– I have nice neighbors. If someone did something stupid like that to me, I’d be upset about it too. But this kind of youth swagger always happens, he laments.

– Probably Janne is not the only one who is disturbed by them. If only he would contact the neighbors, and from there we would go along with this. Cheers to Janne, everything will be fine!

The only annoyance is the sneaking that takes place in the convenience store, which on the one hand makes Väisä laugh, on the other hand makes Väisä sad. The pictures might end up in a gossip magazine.

– Some woman had photographed me last time as well. It was holding in laughter, he wonders with a twinkle in the corner of his eye.
