The FC Barcelona Foundation and KONAMI celebrate the festival for the inclusion of children with disabilities

On March 4, more than a hundred boys and girls met in Tokyo to undertake the project ‘For All Capabilities’

The event was attended by the ambassador of the Barça Foundation, Àlex Roca, “an example of self-improvement, both personal and in high-performance sport”, assured the director Marta Segú

last weekend, the FC Barcelona Foundation once again joined forces with the Japanese company KONAMI to celebrate a festival for the social inclusion of children with disabilities. The event, which took place in Tokyo (Japan) on Saturday March 4, is part of the project For All Capabilitiesstarted in 2019.

The Festival has brought together more than 120 children with different disabilities and without disabilities to work the inclusion between both groups and strengthen the links that are often affected by the social exclusion that children with diversity suffer.

The event has had the attendance of the ambassador of the FC Barcelona Foundation, Àlex Rocawho has starred in a motivational talk addressed to the audience, especially children with disabilities, inspiring them with his own story to continue practicing sports and overcoming adversities that may be encountered in life.

Both Àlex and the rest of the institutional representatives attending the event They have been able to share the space for sports activities and different cooperative games with the children and young people of the programexperiencing first-hand the methodological resources to promote the practice of sport and the inclusion of any type of disability, be it intellectual, motor, sensory or physical.
