C‘it is a moment, between the noise of the waves and the silence of breathing, in which everything slows down. That’s where Familia Yoga Festival was born. On May 23 and 24, 2026, a Bogliasco, in the eastern part of Genoa, this space will take shape: not a simple event, but a place to cross, to feel on the skin. Two days suspended in the enchantment of the Golfo Paradiso, where people, territory and sea will be able to dialogue in an immersive experience. Between practices and meetings.
«Family is a bond that you choose»
The festival was born from a vision, from a dream. In a “magical” setting: the Golfo Paradiso where, moreover, at the end of the 80s, the pioneers of Italian surfing with the legendary Fracas brothers. «Family is a bond that you choose» says Benedetta Gargano, three of the founders of the initiative with her sister Margaux. «It’s recognizing each other, vibrating together, creating something that goes beyond shared time». The basic idea is that “Family” is not only the one we are born into, but also the one we choose along the way, that of the bonds of life, of the people we meet along our journey.

Familia will be a festival spread between the village and the sea. The practices will flow as a single current: vinyasa, ashtanga, acro yoga, kundalini. And balancing on the water with sup yoga. A group of Genoese and Ligurian teachers with guests from all over Italy. All around, a space that welcomes and regenerates with moments of listening.

In fact, talks and meetings will also take shape on the beach, between sand and horizon: reflections on well-being and spirituality. Among the voices, that of Selene Calloni Williams, who brings with her Diary of a Shaman (Piemme), like a story that crosses the visible and the invisible.
Familia Yoga Festival is a “Stay Green” event
It will also be present a wellness area with holistic treatments. A two-day event designed for both expert practitioners and those approaching this world for the first time, without forgetting children and those over 65 to whom the festival will offer a dedicated program of free practices.

The Familia Yoga Festival has the important sponsored by the municipality of Bogliasco: Local catering and commercial activities will be involved with agreements and menus dedicated to the festival to involve the entire town of Bogliasco. Above all, it is a “Stay Green” event: the invitation is to reach the village by train to live the weekend in full respect of nature.
«With this first edition we want to create a sharing space open to all, not only to those who regularly practice yoga. Familia was born from a vision: to enhance our territory as a place capable of welcoming new energies and connecting them to the beauty of the landscape” comments Benedetta Gargano.
A space that for a long time was only imagined by Gargano and which on May 23rd will take shape and finally become reality. And, who knows, perhaps even a very special community destined to expand over time. On the mat, deep down, we are all the same breath.
