Aitoo purunariska is Finland’s seventeenth name-protected product. Authentic potato risk has received the protected geographical indication of the European Union. The Food Agency’s press release states that the protection of the Aitoo perunarieska name is based on the special quality of Aitoo perunarieska and the know-how and reputation needed to make it.
