The Chinese Deepseek artificial application is banned in Italy, says the news agency Reuters. According to the country’s data protection authority, the information provided by Deepseek by personal data is incomplete.
According to the authority, it is unclear what personal information Deepseek collects from, from which sources, for what purposes and on what basis. The authority says that Deepsek’s responses to the developers were not sufficient at all.

The R1 language model developed by Deepseek, a Chinese Deepseek, and the discussion bot built around it, caused a storm in the technology world this week.

Deepsek’s security risks have also been awakened in Finland. For example, the City of Helsinki banned it from its employees.
