Around a year after Iris Apfel’s death, the estate of US fashion icon Iris Apfel is being auctioned off.

More than 200 items of clothing, glasses, bracelets, necklaces and other items will be offered online between January 28 and February 13, auction house Christie’s said. The auction house expects prices in the three-digit and four-digit US dollar range.

Apfel died last March at the age of 102. The New York-born woman had become a fashion icon in her old age with her large round glasses, colorful costumes and accessories and a short white haircut. (dpa)
