The Dune Group has appointed Nigel Darwin as Managing Director.
Darwin brings brand experience from both fashion and beauty, the company behind footwear retailer Dune London said on Tuesday. He comes from the British hairdressing chain Toni&Guy, where he was active as managing director. He also worked for the British fashion retailer New Look and the US leather goods specialist Coach.
He takes over the helm from CEO Daniel Rubin, who took over from James Cox in March 2020. Rubin remains active in his position as Chairman.
“I look forward to Nigel joining us at this exciting time for the company,” said Rubin. “He brings a wealth of experience running consumer-facing businesses and will play a key role in delivering on our ambitious growth plans both in the UK and internationally."
