The DFB Cup is entering its hot phase of this year’s season. In the two semi-finals this year, SC Freiburg and RB Leipzig as well as VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt will face each other. Where will these two cracker games be televised and streamed live?
The top teams in the Bundesliga from Freiburg and Leipzig will start on Tuesday evening (from 8:45 p.m.). It is no less than the repeat of the final from the previous year, when the Red Bulls won 4-2 on penalties on May 21, 2022 and celebrated their first title win in the DFB Cup.
While coach Marco Rose’s team is dreaming of going back to the final in Berlin, the opponent from Freiburg also wants to buy the final ticket. Incidentally, the final will take place on June 3rd – as always in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
The second finalist will be played by VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt a day later (kick-off also at 8.45 p.m.). For a long time, the guests from Hesse were considered the favorites in this duel.
But in the last few weeks, the signs have turned. While the Swabians, with their new head coach Sebastian Hoeneß, have recently scored eight points from four Bundesliga games, the Frankfurt offensive engine has been stuttering for several weeks. Having crashed to ninth place in the table, only a victory in the DFB Cup can save a completely messed up second half of the Adlerträger.
