The Crown star Stephen Greif, 78, has died

Many of Stephen Greif’s acting colleagues have expressed their grief on social media.

British actress Stephen Greif has died at the age of 78. The talent agency that represented him told about it on Twitter.

– It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our great customer Stephen Greif, the update reads.

– We will miss him very much and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Greif was best known for his roles in the TV series The Crown and Blake’s 7. In addition to this, he was seen in the popular soaps Coronian Street and EastEnders.

Many of Greif’s former colleagues have expressed their grief over his death on social media.

– Very sad. He was a great actor and a nice man. We played a little golf together. Rest in peace, actor Phil Davies wrote.

– I am completely devastated after hearing about the death of the brilliant actor and fascinating man Stephen Greif, actress Judy Jarvis in turn wrote.

Greif attended the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art theater school in London. At graduation, he was chosen as both the best and most promising actor.

Greif was involved in the fourth season of The Crown series. He played Sir Bernard Weatherill.
