From the creator of the hit series Rick And Morty Justin Roiland has been accused of sexual violence, says the news site Sky News.

The new allegations are presented by NBC News in the report, which is based on interviews with 11 women. The women claimed to have been involved with Roiland. They shared thousands of messages from different apps from 2013 to 2022.

Nine of them claimed that the messaging turned sexual. Three of them claimed to be 16 years old when they started talking to Roiland.

Allegations of abuse

One woman accused Roiland of forcing her to perform oral sex in March 2019. Another alleged that Roiland flew her to his house in Los Angeles in March 2017 and took advantage of her by having sex with her while she was drunk.

Roiland’s lawyer Andrew Brettler did not specifically address the claim, calling the allegations “false and defamatory.” According to Bettler, Roiland had had consensual sex.

Earlier in January, it was reported that Roiland was accused of domestic violence and deprivation of liberty. However, prosecutors dropped the charges against Roiland in March, which involved his ex-girlfriend.

NBC News reported that seven of those interviewed had previously published their claims on social media. Most of the interviewees told about their encounters with Roiland after the allegations of domestic violence.

The animated comedy series Rick and Morty follows a mad scientist and his grandson. Roiland acted as the voice actor for both characters. ZumaWire / MVPHOTOS
