Shirly Karvinen commented on her Instagram account why the part that has been written about in the media has been removed from the latest episode of the Olipa karta otsikko podcast.
Iltalehti previously reported how Karvinen shared his thoughts on the three-drama that sparked in March in a recent episode of the Once Upon a Time podcast.
The thoughts shared by Karvinen in the podcast were related to a discussion about his ex-partner Sanni You and that boy – song and a rap artist connected to Karvis Brace Boy– song. Karvinen denied in the podcast that the songs released within a week of each other were a PR stunt.
The discussion between Karvinen and his co-host Julianna Jokela on the subject was later removed from the episode.
Karvinen commented on the removal of the section in his current Instagram stories of the day.
– After the recordings, I decided that I want to cut out of the episode the section that refers to the song scandal a couple of months ago. There has been a communication breakdown between Podme’s marketing and production, and because of that the content of today’s episode does not match the headlines of the tabloids, Karvinen commented.
Sanni and Ahti’s songs created a stir in March. Sanni published You and that boy -song on March 20, Ahti on the other hand Boy-song a week later.
In connection with the release of the song, Ahti published an update on her Instagram account where she talked about her song.
– In recent weeks, my age and relationship have been dragged into the headlines without prior warning as a result of another artist’s actions. I was raised to always stand up for myself. That’s how I acted in this situation as well, Ahti wrote.
Ahti had previously performed at Abreu’s Veikkaus-arena gig wearing a shirt with “poitsu” written on the back. The shirt was seen on Ahti a day after Sanni’s song was released. Soon he announced that he would publish Boy– song.
Shirly Karvinen and Sanni announced their separation in the summer of 2025. The ex-couple was together for several years.
Karvinen and Ahti were connected after Seiska published kissing pictures and videos of them.
Karvinen and Ahti recently bought a house in the capital region outside of Helsinki.
