The sixth season of the eSerie A Goleador has come to an end: Como Gaming Club is the one to lift the cup and become the 2026 Italian Champion, driven by the play of Pro player Anders Vejrgang. After an exciting edition which saw the eSports teams of 16 clubs from the top Italian football division compete with pads on Ea Sports Fc 26, the Como team won the coveted championship of the virtual championship organized by the Lega Calcio Serie A, in collaboration with Infront Italy and King Esport.

The year just ended was an intense year, characterized by an intense winter regular season and culminating under the lights of the Esports stage at Comicon Napoli 2026. The final event offered a very high level of competition and showed matches in the balance until the last moment, sensational comebacks that fired up all the fans, but also challenges characterized by the wide gap in terms of goals scored. After a direct elimination phase with no holds barred, the tension reached its peak in the semi-finals: here, Sassuolo eSports and Torino Fc Esports first and Como Gaming Club and Hellas Verona Fc then, gave life to two matches peppered with authentic feats with pad in hand. However, it was the final act of the tournament that stole the show: the final between the Como Gaming Club and Torino Fc Esports, called to defend the title of reigning champion, proved to be a true commercial for esports, closing a perfect circle: the last match of the season in fact proposed exactly the same match with which these two teams had inaugurated their Regular Season. After a balanced first half, Anders Vejrgang made everyone understand why he is considered one of the strongest pro players in the world, winning with the final result of 9-5. The Como Gaming Club was thus able to celebrate winning the title in front of the large audience of Comicon Napoli 2026. A feat followed not only live, but also by the thousands of fans connected in live streaming on Dazn, on the tournament’s Twitch and YouTube channels and, globally, on the Ea Sports Fc Pro networks.

In addition to national glory, the Finals in Naples decreed the names of the teams that will represent Italy on international stages. Thanks to their arrival in the semi-finals, the four clubs Sassuolo eSports, Torino Fc Esports, Como Gaming Club and Hellas Verona Fc have qualified for the League phase of the prestigious eChampions League, scheduled for 15 and 16 May 2026. Furthermore, Sassuolo eSports and Torino FC Esports have also qualified by right for the highly anticipated Ea Sports Fc Pro World Championship, which will be played from 22 to 26 July 2026.
