The city of Kortrijk will still get a football village during the World Cup

Kortrijkzaan Niels Lybeer (36) presents the initiative “KrtrK Qatar”. An indoor World Cup village in Depart, where 1,150 Red Devil supporters can go wild. Lybeer organizes this event together with the associations KRTRK Bazaar, football club De Klokke and a provincial men’s basketball team from De Spurs.

The entrance will open two hours before the game and will not close until 11 pm, even if the Devils are already playing in the afternoon. There will be a big screen to follow the matches, DJs will be present… To enter, you have to book online in advance and pay 2 euros. You also get a reusable cup.

West Flemish World Cup villages

You can also see the World Cup matches of the Red Devils in Waregem and in Ostend. 5,000 fans are welcome in Waregem Expo and they can enter for free. In Ostend, about 2,500 people can support themselves at the Wellington track (for a fee).

Belgium’s first game will be against Canada on November 23. The second day of play, the Red Devils will face the Atlas Lions of Morocco, that is on November 27. And the third match is on December 1 against Croatia.
