Actor by Carl Weathers the cause of death has been announced. RockyWeathers, who played Apollo Creed in the films, died on February 1 at the age of 76.
The Blast now says that Weathers’ cause of death has been listed as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Diseases of the circulatory system that cause atherosclerosis, i.e. arterial disease, are Health Library according to the most common cause of death in Finland.
According to the death certificate obtained by The Blast, Weathers suffered from heart disease for years. Weathers’ death was determined to be natural in the certificate.
Weathers is especially remembered for his role as Apollo Creed in the first four Rockyin the movie. Weathers’ co-star had starred as Rocky Balboa Sylvester Stallone.

Action movie superstar Sylvester Stallone77, posted a heartbroken video on Instagram following the news of his friend and colleague’s death.
– Hello everyone. Today is an incredibly sad day for me. I’m so broken I can’t put it into words. I’m just trying to keep myself together, Sylvester Stallone said emotionally with the video he published.
– Carl Weathers was such a big part of my life and success. I have to give him credit. When he walked in and I saw him for the first time, I saw greatness. I didn’t realize how big. I could never have achieved what we did with Rocky without him.
The movie star doesn’t hide his feelings with his video, where he hits the table with his fist.
