According to the normal procedure, a message should have been sent to the members of the Council Board one by one, but today the congress was canceled ‘hastily’ with the statement made on the official website.
Lawyers evaluated the fact that the Council Board meeting was not held in December as a violation of the statute. Beşiktaş’s statute states that “The Board of Directors meets regularly 3 (three) times a year, in March, June and December, on the day and time to be determined by the Board of Directors, with the participation of the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors.”
