Actor Dalyce Curry has died in the wildfires raging in Los Angeles. Curry was 95 years old when he died.
The US media was the first to report the actor’s death TMZ. According to the news site, the actor’s body was found in a burnt house over the weekend. The Los Angeles County Police confirmed the news of Curry’s death to those closest to him on Sunday, January 12.
Curry’s granddaughter tells TMZ that she saw her grandmother for the last time on Tuesday, January 7. He tells his grandmother that he stayed in his own home in Altadena at the time. That same evening, it was reported that wildfires have started in Los Angeles.
Curry is best remembered Blues Brothers – from the musical film. He has also starred in films Lady Sings the Blues and Ten Commandments.
The wildfires in Los Angeles have so far claimed 24 lives and dozens are missing. According to CNN, the threat of particularly dangerous winds is currently spreading in Southern California. The enhanced warning also applies to a significant part of the Eaton area, which is one of the current wildfire areas.
Earlier it was reported that the former child actor Rory Sykes32, was also found dead in the middle of wildfires. Sykes appeared with his mother in the TV series Kiddy Capers. He was recently known as a video game streamer and lived in Sydney, Australia until recently moving to the United States.
