Aran Bade has severely criticized Winter Vol Liefde candidate Jan in RTL Boulevard because naughty videos of him have been leaked. “They look like the prudish police there!”

RTL Boulevard, and especially Bridget Maasland, always pride themselves on being so morally superior to the juice channels, but what was that bizarre opening item last night? The show section embarrassed Winter Vol Liefde candidate Jan by informing more than a million viewers about his naughty internet videos.

Injection into arm

Years ago, Jan recorded some rather spicy videos showing how he pleasures himself under the influence, but he did not delete those videos – how stupid – for his participation in the RTL 4 hit Winter Vol Liefde. Then of course you ask for a juice channel to pick that up — and that happened yesterday, namely through Reality FBI.

Remarkably, RTL Boulevard then jumped on top, extremely panting. The fact that Jan puts a syringe in his arm and then puts his own syringe to work is not very conventional, but should this be the opening of the country’s largest show class? Haiko Roos, editor-in-chief of RTL Breakfast News, doesn’t think so.

Bullshit

Haiko doesn’t understand why Luuk Ikink and his friends are blowing this up so much. “What a nonsense about Jan in Winter Full of Love. If that man used drugs and made sexual videos, shouldn’t he know that himself? And now they say he should be sorry? Maybe he doesn’t have that. You prudish rascals 🙄,” he writes on X.

Aran Bade in particular pretends that Jan has committed a triple murder. He says, “Yes, I’m baffled. These are images that we cannot broadcast tonight at this time, because we cannot actually show it on TV at the moment due to the time of day and the content we see. I find it really unsavory.”

Prison

Aran can no longer get the images out of his head. “We had Malgosia with that prison, that whole riot, remember? It turned out that she had been in prison, but this makes it even more intense, because those images leave nothing to the imagination. It is a completely different image that you actually get of Jan than you see in the series.”

A small difference: Malgosia ended up in prison because she harmed another person, and this was clearly Jan’s lonely hobby. And it all looks quite sad, so opening an entertainment section with this is questionable to say the least. “What’s in that syringe… It must not have been lemonade,” said Aran.

Went wrong

Aran does not understand that RTL did not discover this. “Then he is wearing very small underwear, which also comes off and then we clearly see sexual acts in those images. I still wonder what went wrong here. You hope that someone will tell everything honestly.”

And if Jan had told this, would Aran no longer have allowed him to be on TV? Is this the same Aran who attends every month? serial Jerkoff Ferry Doedens is on the sidewalk filming his new apartment? Ferry can hang above his Ikea sink all day long, Rob Goossens can digitally lick ChatGPT mistresses all day, but Jan? That has to come off the tube.

Jan responds

Colleague Luuk appears quite hypocritical after the slaughter of Jan. “It is a personal matter and it is extremely annoying that this is happening to him now.”

What does Jan himself say? He says: “What is said on the Reality FBI page is correct. However, this was years ago, at a time in my life where I was not feeling well. During this period I experimented with narcotics. However, meth was not part of those drugs. Other than that, I’ll leave it at that and keep it private.”

Extra annoying

Vivienne van den Assem also finds it all horrible. “He actually admits it. That actually seems extra annoying for RTL, because then you start thinking: why couldn’t we have found that out ourselves?”

Haiko Roos finds it unbelievable. The RTL Breakfast News editor-in-chief continues X: “It’s a shame that they are suddenly the prudishness police at RTL Boulevard. I really think that program is becoming so incredibly conservative and prudish. 👀”

Virtues

Photographer Rob Jacobs agrees with Haiko. “I thought RTL’s official response was great. What the man does in his own free time is up to him, he is not doing anything punishable and has made the videos alone and completely voluntarily, so as far as I am concerned: next!”

“I haven’t seen Boulevard myself, but I hear everywhere that it is indeed perceived as incredibly prudish, conservative, breathy and virtuous. Missed opportunity. Storm in a glass of water, and on!”

What does RTL say?

What does RTL say about it? A spokesperson: “RTL and Blue Circle were not aware of the content currently being discussed by Reality FBI. However, this is a personal matter for Jan and has no relation to the program, so we cannot comment further on this.”

An excellent response, says Renze Klamer. He says in his talk show: “That is his own business, of course. On the other hand, I also think: oh well, what people do in their own home, he should know for himself.”
