Vhello: in an instant fashion month has reached its last chapter. There Paris Fashion Week 2026 comes alive of its programming and the city juggles between the fashion shows of the historic Maisons and the new voices of contemporary fashion. But it is off the catwalks that another game is being played: that of Street Style.

Between brilliant outfits and decidedly questionable choices, the guests transform the streets of Paris into a parallel catwalk. The result? The best looks and those that perhaps would have been better left at home.

Who’s In in Paris

After New York, London and Milan, the Paris Fashion Week collects and reworks the best of the trends seen in previous weeks. The Street Style of the City of Light thus becomes a laboratory of synthesis: the Parisian soul meets that new pragmatic elegance launched by the catwalks, where the taste for detail coexists with a certain ease in mixing the garments. It is therefore not surprising to come across apparently simple but extremely chic combinations: one Animal print midi pencil skirt combined with one gray sweatshirt with a crew neck and black ballet flats, or skinny jeans tucked into high boots, a leather coat and beret for that perfect Parisienne allure.

Among the most interesting looks also stand out bolder combinationssuch as jeans with a double contrasting shirt, completed with zebra-print pumps, or silhouette with oriental charm with a Japanese-inspired top and palazzo trousers. In general, Parisian Street Style seems to reward the mix of influences, but with an unwritten rule: elegance always remains the compass.

Who is Out

It goes without saying that when the elements of the look become too many, the combinations are forced or the stylistic coherence of the whole is lost, Paris does not forgive. Even in the most creative Street Style there is a thin line between successful experimentation and visual chaos. So they end up among those who failthe look where a sequined skirt meets a sports jacket with too skimpy silhouettes, or those in which layering becomes excessive and messy: shirt tied at the waist, vintage parka and leg warmers piled up without a real common thread.

Even romance can turn into a double-edged sword: when ruffles and ruffles multiply without measure, the effect risks quickly becoming cloying.

After all, in the French capital those who manage to find the right balance between originality and moderation win. More than the garments themselves, they are the styling details to really make a difference.
