The Beatles: Red and Blue Album back in the charts after reissue

The Beatles compilations, also known as the Red Album and Blue Album, are in the top 10 of the American Billboard charts in the Top Album Sales category. returned. These are now the highest sales figures for both albums since the week before December 24, 1994, when 37,000 and 40,000 copies were sold respectively.

The success of the Red and Blue Albums was also reflected in the American “Billboard 200 Album Charts”, where the latter work reached first place and the Red Album secured third place.

Originally released in 1973, the Red Album contained 26 songs while the Blue Album featured 28 tracks. In the 2023 reissues, a total of 21 additional songs were added – twelve of them on the Red Album and nine on the Blue Album. The latter also includes the recently released single “Now and Then”, which was completed with the help of artificial intelligence and represents the Beatles’ 35th chart position in the top 10 of the US “Billboard Hot 100”.

“Now and Then” also made it to the top of the charts in Germany. It was even the first number one hit since “Come Together” 54 years ago.
