From viral TikTok hits to strong chart positions: These newcomers are changing German rap. Kayla Shyx, ZAH1DE, Jolle and more at a glance.
In 2025, the German rap scene will also have produced some promising newcomers. We have put together an overview of our most important female hip-hop artists of 2025 for you.
1. Kayla Shyx
The 23-year-old musician Kayla Shyx from Berlin released her first album SAD GIRL SUMMER in 2025 after several singles. In the 17 songs she deals with topics such as youth, love and self-discovery. Their sound moves between dream hip hop and lo-fi indie.

2. NUMBER1DE
ZAH1DE is only 15 years old and became known in 2023 through her TikTok dances – she now has over 8.5 million followers on the platform. After she was signed to Universal, the young rapper released her first songs, which were immediately streamed millions of times. Her song “Mona Lisa Motion” even reached a chart position.

3. Dinghy
Jolle was discovered at a karaoke evening on the Reeperbahn in 2022. In January 2025, a song snippet of her track “all fairy tales are lies” went viral. After the song was released, the rapper Cro recorded a new interpretation with her – and booked her as support for some of his summer shows. In addition to other festival shows, numerous new songs and the PETRICHOR ACOUSTICS EP were released. “Amazon Music” described her as a “breakthrough artist”.

4. Mariybu
In February 2025, Mariybu released her biggest and second album to date, EIN TAG GÖTTIN. She also played her headlining tour for the album and announced another tour for 2026. In the summer, the former SXTN frontwoman Juju became aware of Mariybu and shot the music video for the song “DEIN IDEAL” together with her:
5. Ellice
The Berlin musician Ellice released her debut album ELLICE IM WUNDERLAND on July 4th, 2025. Her first own headlining tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland was also on her agenda.
Together with the Hamburg rapper Tom Hengst she produced the song “Lovesongs” in 2025:
6. 6euroneninety
The year 2025 was quite successful for the rap duo 6euroneunzig. After several single releases, they released their first EP SLUTALARM in June. The two announced their first tour for 2026: “Pussies to power!”

7. Zsa Zsa
The debut album by the singer and rapper Zsá Zsá was released in September 2025. Numerous live performances followed, including at the Reeperbahn Festival. The 30-year-old was also nominated for the “1LIVE Krone” as best newcomer. She has announced a tour for 2026.
