That’s what Quentin Tarantino says about a possible sequel

Director, screenwriter and film expert Quentin Tarantino spoke in an interview about a possible sequel to his double whammy “Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2”. Unfortunately, the 60-year-old has to disappoint fans’ expectations. There will be no third part of the action film hits from 2003 and 2004.

Tarantino’s Last Movie Will Definitely Not Be Kill Bill Vol. 3

In an interview with the Belgian daily newspaper De Morgen, Tarantino confirmed that he will no longer be recreating the ultra-brutal film universe about “The Bride”, played by Uma Thurman (“Pulp Fiction”). “I don’t see that coming. My last film will be about a film critic. And it’s set in the 70s,” the newspaper quoted the two-time Oscar winner as saying. In doing so, Tarantino shattered the dreams of many fans who were hoping even Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke (“Asteroid City”) could wield the samurai sword alongside her mother.

Tarantino himself sparked speculation as he pondered a potential third Kill Bill movie. One consideration would have been to process unused ideas in another work. “The Bride” actress Uma Thurman and Tarantino have reportedly exchanged ideas for a possible “Vol. 3” out. However, these fizzled out again and Thurman confirmed in an interview in “Jesse Cagle Podcast‘ that she wouldn’t really see the joint project coming.

Speculation also arose among fans after Vernita Green actress Vivica A. Fox starred in the “Kill Bill” music video by SZA occurred. The R’n’B singer’s clip and song were a direct homage to Tarantino’s film.

The director has set himself a limit of ten films before moving on to other off-screen projects. These include a television series and various author activities. But before that, we can look forward to The Movie Critic, which is scheduled to begin filming this fall.
