Lili Genee greatly appreciates that Beau van Erven Dorens was tackled so firmly in Today Inside after the interview he conducted with her. “It was very sweet that they stood up for me,” she says.
Wilfred Genee’s wife, Lili, has written some book about mental health and she has been promoting it everywhere in recent weeks. She was also allowed to join RTL Tonight, but host Beau van Erven Dorens seemed mainly concerned with depriving Lili of the floor as often as possible. It was somewhat uncomfortable TV.
Dislikes Wilfred
Where it comes from? It is common knowledge that Beau hates Wilfred, and perhaps he thought he could get his revenge through his wife Lili.
However, it will cost Beau dear, because he was treated mercilessly hard in VI. “Then he better tackle me sometime. Then he should invite me sometime and then he should play ball with me. That would be better,” Wilfred fumed.
‘Very sweet’
Johan Derksen also came to the rescue for Lili. “She just wasn’t given the space to tell it. She couldn’t finish a sentence, she wasn’t able to explain what the book entails, nor where you can order the book, at Lili.nl, and that Beau just spent her entire evening amusing herself.”
Lili appreciates that Beau has been attacked in VI. “It was very sweet that they stood up for me. VI also does good things sometimes,” she says in the weekly magazine Private.
Not always fun
That comment means that Lili is often annoyed by VI. “Wilfred’s work is not always fun for our family. With us, everything is magnified and you realize all the more how great the external influences are with the children at school. Of course, Wilfred does not present All You Need Is Love. Apart from that, I find the media world terribly toxic.”
According to Lili, VI also contributes to this. “If I think: things could have been done a little less, I also talk to him about it. So it is not the case that I am by definition team Wilfred and he is not team Lili either. That is something that keeps us awake. We are also not going to keep talking to each other.”
