“This is because the Laura Dahlmeier was simply a Garmisch-Partenkirchener,” the politician appreciates the deceased. In the everyday life of the place, Dahlmeier was accordingly present: “She was shopping here, active with clubs, had her friends here. She was one of us.”

“The family and the closest friends now have to grasp this death and this grief,” says Koch. “This takes space and time.” This is also why the city has not planned a commemoration.
“Garmisch-Partenkirchen does nothing, but nothing at all, without the approval of the family. It has absolute priority,” Koch explains the decision. If it is “desired and wanted”, then you will of course be there, for example with your comrades from the mountain rescue service or from the ski club. ” At the moment it is still too early. “We will talk to each other when it is time.”
