The clothing supplier Adler Modemärkte AG wants to further strengthen its gastronomic offer. On Monday, the company announced that it would gradually set up its own cafés in each branch. “They should invite customers to take a rest in the market, to exchange ideas and to discover additional services or products,” the textile retailer explained in a press release. The plan also affects stores that already have a restaurant. There the new cafés are supposed to offer an additional offer.

At the same time, Adler also wants to expand its travel business. “The shopping and adventure trips to the Adler fashion stores, combined with additional attractive program items, are very popular with a large part of the Adler target group,” explained the company, which has been in self-administration for the Berlin conglomerate Zeitfracht since the summer after the conclusion of insolvency proceedings heard.

According to Adler, the aim of the measures is to further increase the attractiveness of the markets. “This is intended to further expand the shopping experience in the coming months and to strengthen the Adler Reisen brands and the new Adler Café brand,” said a press release. The first step was “a brand relaunch of the two Adler sub-brands”, which was supported by the e-commerce and marketing agency Coconad, which is also part of the Zeitfracht Group.
