Texel residents are really done with Utrecht lifeguard students: majority wants to end cooperation

The curtain is about to fall for the lifeguards of the Utrecht Student Corps (USC) on Texel, after they became discredited at the beginning of this year due to accusations of sexual misconduct against young women in the past. A council majority on Texel wants to stop the collaboration. This could put an end to a 75-year tradition.
