Jimi Pitkämäki threw a javelin 32.36 meters at the end of May in Seinäjoki. The result is listed as the best throw by a seven-year-old with a 400-gram javelin on a website that compiles the results of young athletes from 55 countries.

However, we cannot talk about a world record. More officially, ME results for young people are only recorded in the U18 age group.
