Goalkeeper Hungry on comeback

Six months after his tore of the patella tendon, Marc-André Ter Stegen returned to team training at FC Barcelona and is flirting with an early effort. The 32 -year -old goalkeeper feels fit and full of energy, can withstand any stress and is hungry for his comeback. “If I master the loads with fit and all parts of the team training well, I will already pie the coach so that he knows that I am ready,” he said in the “Bild” podcast “PhraseMäher” in the direction of Hansi Flick.
However, there is no exact date in the head. National coach Julian Nagelsmann will also follow his return exactly. It is open whether the keeper will be in the goal of the German national team in Stuttgart and Munich until the final round in the Nations League from June June 8th. Most recently in the quarter-final success against Italy, Hoffenheimer Oliver Baumann had preferred VfB Stuttgarts Alexander Nübel.
Nagelsmann had always emphasized that Ter Stegen for the World Cup in the coming year in the United States, Canada and Mexico is a prerequisite. “If he is fit and healthy and 100 percent powerful, then he will be number one.”

Ter Stegen about decisions at the DFB Pro Neuer
Again and again Ter Stegen had had to put back in the DFB team in recent years behind the long-standing number one Manuel Neuer. Not an easy time for the native Mönchengladbacher. “The 2018 decision made me the hardest. I made almost all games, that was my best year until then. For me it wasn’t just at the moment,” he reported.
Even at the home European Championships last year, he only had the place on the bench. “Julian is just out as a guy, that’s exactly how he explained it to me was not an easy decision. Was I happy about it? Certainly not! I said that I respect that-but I have a different opinion. But that does not mean that I was less likely. Julian was and is always very honest. Accordingly, I have a huge anticipation for everything that comes with the national team now.”
Neuer had ended his national team career after 124 games after the tournament. Even if the Bayern professional was at the DFB for a long time, he was also someone you could learn from. “I watch all the goalkeepers and always see what I can take over in my own toolbox. You can’t copy the style of Manu, but I have analyzed its wide drops more closely. How does it develop this force?
