Laura Siegemund reached the round of 16 in doubles at Wimbledon without a fight.
The 35-year-old from Metzingen and her tennis partner Vera Svonareva benefited from the injury to the Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, who had already had to give up in London.
Haddad Maia and Viktoria Azarenka could not play against Siegemund and Svonareva.
