The world ranking of Aryna Sabalenka has won a dramatic marathon match against the former Wimbledon winner Jelena Rybakina and is in the semi-finals of the Berlin tennis tournament.
The Belarussin prevailed on Friday with 7: 6 (8: 6), 3: 6, 7: 6 (8: 6) and can continue to hope for the first grass title of her career.
Sabalenka fended off four match balls in a row at 2: 6 in the Tiebreak before decided to play the game after 2:42 minutes. “I have no idea how I won the last points,” said Sabalenka after a big fight in the blazing sun. In the semi -finals, Sabalenka will meet the Czech Marketa Vondrousova on Saturday.
VonDrousova wins a new edition of the Wimbledon finals
