He is less experienced on fast deposits, but has shown with victories against top players that he can be dangerous even on unusual terrain. His backhand and his return game could be decisive against Struff’s surcharge.

Jan-Lennard Struff is facing an important home game in Stuttgart. The season has been disappointing for the 35-year-old Warsteiner: only four victories from the last 19 matches, twelve round-round defeats this year alone-including the last three tournaments. Struff has gotten into a low of molding, which recently even had it slipped out of the top 100 in the world rankings (currently ATP 103).
