Ten tips about the kidnapping of a Beverwijk businessman in Egmond aan Zee

The police have received ten tips about the kidnapping of a 42-year-old businessman from Beverwijk. These came in after images were shown last night in the television program Opsporing Verzocht.

The images shown show the kidnappers, three men. The victim has a business appointment with a woman in Egmond aan Zee in the evening of November 11. She lures him inside, and three men are waiting for him.

Machine gun

There he has to hand over all personal items, including his watch, telephones, wallet and cash, under threat of possibly a machine gun. He has to lie on the ground and has a bag put over his head. His arms and legs are tied.

The Beverwijker is abused, but is not seriously injured. He was held for about six hours in total, then taken to Delft in a car. Once there, he manages to escape his kidnappers. There he calls the police.
