With the unexpected absence of the Stalhillebrug, an important connection for recreational and functional slow traffic over the canal has disappeared. To somewhat limit nuisance, in particular during the most important tourist months, the Flemish Waterweg NV has decided to put the canal over the bridge on the N377 regional road in addition to the permanent opportunity to cross the canal. That spring is served daily from 9 am to 7 pm.
