In the international week, Telstar chose to play a friendly game on Wednesday afternoon. Assistant trainer Mounir Azaoum was in charge of Telstar.

Head coach Anthony Correia completed an extra training with a number of regular basic players. Guus Offerhaus, Devon Koswal, Dylan Mertens, Tyrone Owusu, Patrick Brouwer, Ronald Koeman Jr., Soufiane Hetli were on the training field.

Internationals Tyrese Noslin and Dion Malone were missing in the exhibition match. They are currently on the road with their country. Noslin is brand new international of Curaçao and Malone is one of the most experienced players at Suriname. Danny Bakker is still struggling with an injury.

Milan Zonneveld quickly opened the score for Telstar, which was the parent in the first half. Towards the break, the people from Brabant were right. After the break, Telstar had a harder time and Top Oss took the lead. Sebastiaan Hagedoorn and a nice goal from Kyan Lever finally provided a 4-3 final score.

The Telstar players will enjoy a number of days off in the coming days. The PhD student trains again on Monday and will play at home against SC Heerenveen next week on Sunday 19 October at 12.15 pm.
