Telenet from the stock exchange on October 13 | Economy

Now follows a simplified buyout offer on the same financial terms, with the remaining shares automatically transferring to Liberty Global.

On October 13, the shares will be delisted from Euronext Brussels. This puts an end to Telenet’s stock exchange listing after 18 years.

On March 21, Liberty announced its plan to take Telenet private. An offer was made of 21 euros per share. Liberty, together with the shares that Telenet holds in its own hands, aimed for at least 95 percent of the shares. But in July, after the initial acceptance period, it turned out that this target had not yet been achieved, after which Liberty Global reopened the offer.
