Telekom Baskets Bonn failed in the Champions League

Telekom Baskets Bonn suffered their second defeat in the Champions League. Coach Roel Mors’ team lost to Bursaspor on Tuesday in the Telekom Dome with 82:92 (42:44).

The defending champions still lead Group F. The best thrower was Brian Fobbs with 22 points, while David Michineau impressed with 20 points for the opponent from Turkey.

After the first quarter, the Baskets still led 24:19. After that, Bursaspor dominated the game. In the last 15 minutes, the Bonn team were no longer able to turn the game around.

The defending champions won the first leg at the end of October 91:73. It was the first win of the season for Bursaspor.

In the Bundesliga, runner-up Bonn meets MLP Academics Heidelberg on Sunday (3:30 p.m./Dyn). After eight games, the Baskets are in sixth place with a record of 5:3 wins.
