Maurice Krattenmacher will apparently not return to his parent club FC Bayern Munich for the time being after his loan to Hertha BSC. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder will spend at least the coming season with newly promoted Bundesliga club SV 07 Elversberg. The U20 national player is already undergoing a medical check at Kaiserlinde, reports transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano. The Italian did not provide any information about the exact change modalities – loan or permanent transfer with a transfer fee.
Update 1:11 p.m.: According to “Sky” it is a purchase. Accordingly, the Munich-based company has also secured a buyback option.
Krattenmacher, who moved from SpVgg Unterhaching to neighboring Munich in 2024, is under contract with Bayern until 2028. With his move to Elversberg, he is following in the footsteps of ex-FCB talent Paul Wanner (20, PSV Eindoven), who celebrated his breakthrough in professional football in the 2nd Bundesliga on loan in Saarland in 2023/24. At that time, Wanner increased his market value to 8 million euros, Krattenmacher stands at 3 million after his year in Berlin. This even fell by 500,000 euros in the June update of the German House of Commons.
He played in 25 games for the Old Lady, scored two goals and provided one assist. However, he was only used for 818 minutes and was mainly used as a joker. Krattenmacher was out from late January to early March with a thigh injury.

In Unterhaching, Krattenmacher made his debut in the Bavarian Regional League at the age of 16 under coach Sandro Wagner. With five goals and eleven assists in 51 games for the game association, he had shown his great talent and thus attracted the interest of Bayern. However, he has not yet played for Munich. In 2024/25, Krattenmacher was unable to help SSV Ulm stay in the 2nd Bundesliga despite three goals and eight assists. It was also awarded to the Spatzen by the record champions.
