Two minor boys on a scooter made it very colorful in Roosendaal. When the police saw the scooter ride on Tuesday in the middle of the night and wanted to check, they left. After a chase, the agents managed to keep them on and were fined.

Agents saw the scooter driving around a quarter past three in the morning on the mayor Prinsensingel, without lighting and without a helmet. The police officers gave the driver a stop sign, but he ran away. The police started a chase.

Wounded after falling
It was only short -lived, because soon the boys fell with the scooter. They put it on a run, after which the officers went back after it. After a few hundred meters, they kept the boys. They were injured in the fall. The boys were checked in an ambulance, but they didn’t have to go to the hospital.

The teenagers, from Oud Gastel and Kruisland, have been arrested and taken to the police station. There they got a whole pile of fines from the agents. To ignore the stop sign, not wearing a helmet, driving without a driver’s license and not having an identity card.

The scooter was also put on the roller bench to measure the speed. And it turned out: it also drove too fast. The vehicle must be re -inspected and may only be on the road again.
