Lukas Hradecky reminded Teemu Puk about nurturing his legacy.
Lukas Hradecky kept his emotions in check between the posts as he saw his good friend leave the pitch.
Teemu Pukin the last international match in Huuhkaj ended in the 68th minute. The entire Tammela stadium stood up to give thunderous applause to Finland’s football hero.
– I’m not an emotional guy, but maybe we should get a couple of bisses down first, like the Finnish way, and then we’ll start with emotions. Let’s see if we sing a karaoke song together at some point in the evening, Hradecky said in the open air of the Tammela stadium.
So maybe karaoke – Puki is known to do that. The last night in the national team did not end with the final whistle against Andorra. What all was planned for Puki in honor of the farewell evening?
– Well, let’s see what we come up with. The whole team is moving at least to Helsinki. As a person from Turku, at least you can’t stay in Tampere to celebrate, Hradecky continued with a laugh.

Andorra fell 4–0. With that, the Huuhkajat ended their year with a win, even though it was a no-stakes practice game.
– It also had a lot of weight that we could erase that Malta game from the agenda. Of course, that loss still hurts. You just shouldn’t lose like that.
After the game, Pukki shouted Finnish fans with a megaphone.
– Our Teemu is a bit nervous about those situations, Hradecky threw but got serious right after.
– At the same time, it must be said, especially when we live in such an egocentric world, that Puki, despite his fame, has never achieved success.
– Everyone sensed the good vibe and work ethic he brings to the team.
That legacy should be cherished even after Puk, Hradecky reminded.
– The same thing with a megaphone as with ham and cheese on bread, so you should take a cue from me, Lukas Hradecky joked about Puk. Jussi Saarinen
