Coach Domenico Tedesco from RB Leipzig is “extremely” looking forward to the quarter-final opponent in the Europa League, but he also sees a “difficult lot” in Atalanta Bergamo.
The Italian first division team is “really good opponents with a lot of great players,” said the German-Italian, who watched the Leverkusen conqueror himself at a home game last October.
The RB coach also raved about the “great stadium” and the “really good work” in the club: “It was an elevator team for a long time.” Thanks to clever transfers, it is now “a very exciting team,” praised Tedesco.
