Burnett (29) ran 6.62 in the 60 metres, one hundredth faster than the Athletics Union’s 6.63 limit. Boers (22) shone in the 400 meters with a lightning-fast time of 46.36, well below the required 46.50.
This puts the counter of Dutch athletes for the World Indoor Championships at six so early in the indoor season. Earlier, Lieke Klaver qualified in the 400 meters, Koen Smet and Liam van der Schaaf in the 60 meter hurdles and Jessica Schilder in the shot put for this tournament.
