Frauke Vandekerckhove from Kortrijk made an impression at the European Taxidermia Championship. With her set up raccoon, she won the first prize in the ‘Medium Mammals’ category. In addition, she also won two other medals, for her work on a baby chimpanzee and an African eagle owl.
“I did not expect that I would win so many prizes, but I am very happy,” says Frauke. “It is a recognition for the many hours of work I put into it.”
