The episode occurred at the “Paolo VI” racecourse in Taranto: on 26 December a horse, named Fred Sonic Run, after participating in the third race, was mistreated inside the box by his driver. The video, recorded by the facility’s video surveillance system, which promptly reported and forwarded the footage to the competent authorities, was released by the Horse-Angels Odv association.
