Anyone who goes to Lille, or goes shopping just across the border in Halluin or in the Auchan in Roncq, must from now on stick an environmental vignette on their car window. Lille and almost 100 municipalities around it have been a low emission zone since January 1. Only vehicles with a valid Crit’Air environmental sticker are still allowed to enter the area.

Every driver, even of an electric car, is obliged to purchase such a sticker for just under 5 euros. And only those who drive a car that meets the standards can purchase such a sticker. This is done via the government website, and you must upload a photo of your registration certificate. So anyone who drives to Auchan, or even just crosses the border in Halluin, without a sticker risks a fine of between 68 and 450 euros.

You can easily change your sticker here order. So definitely don’t pay more than 5 euros!
