Takko finds successor for Advisory Board Chairman Karl-Heinz Holland

Takko Fashion has found a new advisory board chairman in Dirk van den Berghe.

He succeeds Karl-Heinz Holland, Takko announced on Thursday. The former Lidl boss left the advisory board of the Telgte textile discounter at the end of July and has been chairman of the British retail group Matalan since the end of March.

Van den Berghe has almost 20 years of experience as CEO of retail and digital companies. Among other things, he was executive vice president and regional CEO of the US retailer Walmart for Asia and Canada and CEO of the Belgian grocery chain Delhaize for Belgium and Luxembourg. He also brings experience as a chairman and board member of various companies such as Flipkart Group, JD.com and The Very Group.

“We are very pleased to have won Dirk Van den Berghe, a very experienced international industry expert, for the position of Chairman of the Advisory Board,” said Takko CEO Tjeerd Jegen. “He has unmatched experience in both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce business in many regions of the world. With his expertise and support, we will continue to grow Takko Fashion.”
